Real-time 3D Animation with Houdini

The Perception Neuron Houdini plugin allows users to stream real-time or playback motion capture data into Houdini.

Create a Real-Time Animation Pipeline in Houdini with Perception Neuron Motion Capture Tools

You have the option to either stream real-time data or playback data. This plugin is compatible with Perception Neuron 32, Perception Neuron Pro, Perception Neuron Studio and Perception Neuron 3.

Requirements:

  • Houdini 19.5
  • SideFX Labs (Latest Version)
  • Axis Neuron / Axis Neuron Pro / Axis Studio

Download / Install:

Houdini natively supports Perception Neuron through the MOCAP STREAM node. No additional download is needed.

When opening Houdini make sure that you have the latest version of SideFX Labs on your computer.

To update, go to Windows ->SideFX Labs . Then click on the " Update" button.
